Creative Aging: Weaving Workshop

Location: Heard Museum | 2301 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004
This Creative Aging cycle we will be venturing into Textile Weaving with Gerard BeGay. Class is open to ages 55+. Students must be able to attend all class sessions. Veterans Printmaking Workshop: Part 2
Join the second session of Veterans Printmaking Workshop taught by Jacob Meders (Mechoopda – Maidu). This workshop is dedicated to Natives who have served, providing a safe space to commune with fellow Indigenous Veterans and express yourself through art. Meders, of WarBird Press, brings experience in teaching all skill and knowledge levels; all materials will be provided.

Experience a FREE one-week business training program exclusively designed for Native Women entrepreneurs at Thunderbird Downtown Phoenix campus. If selected, you will participate in an intensive week of training, including MBA-level business classes led by Thunderbird faculty, visits to local Native businesses, coaching/advising sessions, and networking activities.

Family Weaving Workshop
Dates: September 9, 16, 23, 2023
Time: 9 AM – 3 PM(ish)
Place: Monte Vista Room- Heard Museum

Meals and materials will be provided (small breakfast and lunch). Class size is limited and open to all ages. Students must be able to attend all class sessions. We can provide rooming accommodations, if needed. Native preference.
